by Hangloose Adventure Bluewater
This one-hour activity takes place at the Eden Project in Newquay, England, featuring England’s fastest zipline called the Skywire. Participants begin with a full safety briefing and secure harness fitting provided by trained staff. After preparation, they climb three flights of stairs to reach the launch platform. The zipline run covers 660 metres at a height of 96 metres above the ground. Riders fly in a Superman-style harness, reaching speeds up to 60 mph while passing over the Eden Project’s world-famous biomes. A locker is included to store personal belongings during the ride. Participants must weigh between 30 kg and 120 kg, be over eight years old, and be able to independently assume a press-up position for the flight.
Skywire Adventure Start
The Skywire experience at Hangloose Adventure Eden starts with check-in and a welcome from the staff. Participants proceed to the harnessing area for a safety briefing and fitting of a secure harness by qualified instructors. They are then transported to the Skywire tower, where they climb the platform and are attached to the zipline. The ride reaches speeds up to 60mph as participants travel across the Eden Project Biomes. After landing, staff assist with unharnessing. Participants must be aged 8 or older and weigh between 30 and 120kg, though wind conditions may adjust limits to a minimum of 35kg or maximum of 110kg, with notifications sent by text. If weight restrictions change, bookings can be rescheduled, converted to vouchers, or refunded.
