This semi-private tour from Positano lasts about seven to eight hours and includes free transfer in an air-conditioned vehicle from the accommodation. The tour begins with a two-hour guided visit to the Archaeological Park of Pompeii, focusing on the western part of the site. The guide explains daily life before the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 AD while showing important buildings such as the Basilica, the Forum, the thermal baths, a bakery, and several residential houses. After the visit to Pompeii, the group travels to Mt. Vesuvius National Park. The walk starts from a square at 1000 meters above sea level and continues along the Gran Cone trail up to the volcano’s crater. From the crater, there is a panoramic view of the Gulf of Naples. Entry tickets for both Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius are included. Lunch is not provided.
