Overview

In the heart of Enshi Qingjiang Grand Canyon, the Jigongling Via Ferrata is like a steel ladder embedded on a 90-degree vertical limestone cliff. With a 650-meter vertical drop, it has earned the reputation of "Asia's High Via Ferrata" and has been praised by "China National Geographic" as "China's Beautiful Via Ferrata." Here, the magnificence of karst landforms is perfectly integrated with the excitement of outdoor adventures, allowing ordinary people to touch the sky on the cliffs and overlook the beautiful scenery of Qingjiang without professional climbing skills. Via Ferrata originated in Italy as a "rock wall railway climbing" route. It was originally a military passage during wartime and has now become an extreme sport for all. The Jigongling Via Ferrata is built on the natural cliffs of the Jingyang section of the Qingjiang River. The starting point is located at the throat of the Qingjiang Sleeping Buddha, facing the Butterfly Cliff scenic area across the river. Every climb offers a panoramic view of the winding green waters and overlapping peaks and forests of the canyon. When the clouds and fog surround it, it is like being in a fairyland. From children's fun adventures to adults' extreme challenges, from the green waters of the Qingjiang River to the cloud sea peaks and forests, the Jigongling Via Ferrata is not only a physical test but also a journey to connect with nature. Here, every grip is a proof of courage, and every distant view is a visual feast, becoming an unforgettable memory in the Enshi trip.

Highlights

You don't need professional rock climbing skills to scale the karst cliffs; just step on the steel ladder and grab the iron cable. Below your feet, the emerald-like Qingjiang River meanders.
Safety equipment + professional coaches provide full escort, exercising courage and gaining tacit understanding in climbing.
Overlook the green water of the river from above the cliff, listen to the mountain wind roaring in your ears, and take in the magnificence of the karst landform and the beauty of the Qingjiang River.
