Overview

This helicopter tour from Kathmandu lasts about 4 to 5 hours and includes shared group flights with up to five passengers and one pilot. The flight departs early morning from Kathmandu airport after hotel pickup and check-in, heading first to Lukla airport for a brief refuel stop. From Lukla, the helicopter continues flying over the Everest Base Camp and Kalapathar areas, offering clear views of Mount Everest and nearby peaks such as Pumori, Lhotse, and Nuptse. The flight includes an optional landing at Hotel Everest View for breakfast, weather permitting. After the stop, the return flight goes back to Kathmandu, either via Lukla or directly, depending on fuel requirements. The pilot decides the exact route and the flight schedule may vary due to weather conditions. The helicopter used is a strong and safe Airbus H125 model, flown only on suitable weather days. If weather prevents flying, a full refund is provided. The operator requests flexible travel dates to allow rescheduling if needed. Included are a pre-trip briefing the day before, hotel pickup and drop-off, and expert consultation. Passengers must carry a passport copy (a photo on a phone is acceptable) and dress warmly for temperatures around 0 degrees Celsius or below at higher altitudes. National park fees, taxes, and meals are not included. Passengers weighing over 100 kg should notify the operator after booking.
