Thunder Mountain Trailhead

The tour starts by boarding the jeep and driving through Sedona’s rugged hills and canyons. The guide shares information about Sedona’s geological features, local wildlife, vegetation, and Native American stories. The group sees Thunder Mountain, also called Capital Butte, which is one of the tallest mountains in the area.

Doe Mountain Trail

The jeep stops near Cock’s Comb, a spiny red ridge. The guide points out other natural landmarks including Boynton Canyon, Bear Mountain, Doe Mesa, Greasy Spoon, and Diamondback Gulch.
