This day trip begins with hotel pickup and drop-off from selected resorts in the Nadi and Denarau areas on Viti Levu, Fiji. Pickup from Lautoka, Coral Coast, or Vuda can be arranged for an additional fee of FJD20 per person, payable by card on the day of the trip. Guests staying on outer islands such as Plantation, Malolo, Musket, Matamonoa, Mana, Castaway, and Treasure can organize transfers through their resort water-sports teams. Check-in opens from 8 AM to 8:45 AM and again from 12 PM to 12:45 PM. The 1 PM departure operates only if a minimum of 25 guests are booked; otherwise, guests may be moved to earlier departures. The boat ride to Cloud 9 takes between 7 and 40 minutes, depending on the departure point. Cloud 9 is Fiji’s only two-level floating platform located in turquoise waters near Viti Levu. It features an Italian wood-fired pizzeria and a fully stocked international bar. Guests receive a FJD60 bar tab per person to use toward food and beverages. The platform offers a sun deck, multiple day beds, and a surround sound system. Snorkeling equipment is available for use, but guests must bring their own snorkel masks and mouthpieces as these are not rented out currently. Children under 10 years old are not permitted on Cloud 9 for safety reasons. Towels, sunscreen, hats, and reef-friendly sunglasses are not provided and should be brought by guests. The trip is cashless, with card payments only.
