Atami's natural geographical location makes the fireworks display even more dramatic. Atami, located on the eastern side of the Izu Peninsula, is a popular tourist destination, and its regular fireworks display is one of its biggest attractions. Atami is situated on a natural basin coast formed by surrounding mountains, so the sound of the fireworks exploding echoes throughout the town, making the display more impactful and dramatic.
