Flamingo Gardens is a 60-acre wildlife sanctuary and botanical garden located in Fort Lauderdale. The site features a large collection of native Florida animals including flamingos, alligators, panthers, bobcats, eagles, otters, bears, and peacocks. Visitors can stroll through tropical gardens that contain ancient oak trees, orchids, bromeliads, butterflies, and hummingbirds. The gardens also include a large open aviary where birds fly freely and the Wray Museum, which displays a typical South Florida home from the 1930s. This ticket allows skip-the-line daytime admission from 9:30 AM to 5 PM. After-hours events such as holiday lights require separate tickets sold only on the venue’s official website. The visit usually takes about 4 hours. Food, drinks, and hotel transfers are not included.

Travel south 2.5 miles to traffic light at SW 36th Ct.. Flamingo Gardens is on the left (east side). Please be aware that I-595 is under construction and exit instructions may change from time to time.
