Florence Cathedral, known for its large dome designed by Brunelleschi, offers unique views from its terraces and the dome itself. This guided walking tour lasts about two and a half hours and includes reserved entry to the terraces, which are not open to the general public, along with a climb to the top of Brunelleschi's Dome. The group enters the Duomo first, then climbs 153 steps to the terraces followed by 310 steps to the dome's summit. During the ascent, an official expert guide explains the frescoes visible up close. The tour is led by a fully licensed Art and History guide who speaks English and Spanish. Groups are limited to 20 guests, and earphones are provided for groups larger than six. The guided portion covers the Cathedral and dome climb, while access to the Baptistery and Giotto Bell Tower is included for self-guided visits. Depending on the season and option selected, the Spanish tour may also include entry to the Duomo Museum or terraces.
