Overview

This walking tour focuses on Florence's key landmarks starting with skip-the-line entrance to the Accademia Gallery to view Michelangelo's David. The visit here lasts about one hour. Afterward, the tour continues to the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore (the Duomo), where guests also skip the line. The guide explains the history and features of the church during the one-hour stay. If the VIP David & Duomo option is chosen, the walking tour is replaced by extended time at the Duomo, including exclusive access to the North Terrace, which is reserved for the small group without other visitors. The tour ends with a climb to the top of the Dome, offering panoramic views of Florence. For the standard walking tour option, the guide leads the group to Piazza della Signoria, the open-air space where the original David statue was planned. The group then pauses outside the Palazzo Vecchio, Florence’s city hall and former Medici power center. The walk continues past the Uffizi Gallery to Mercato del Porcellino, where the bronze wild boar statue is located. The tour also covers the lively Piazza della Repubblica and finishes with a 15-minute visit to the Ponte Vecchio bridge. The entire experience lasts about three to three and a half hours with a small group of up to 18 people and includes an English-speaking guide.
