Overview

This 90-minute small-group tour in Fort Lauderdale combines snorkeling and Seabob riding, a watercraft that operates like an underwater jet ski. Participants meet the instructor on the beach for a safety briefing and gear fitting, which includes a mask, safety harness, and optional wetsuit rental. Before the reef tour, the group practices using the Seabob in shallow water until everyone is comfortable. The guided tour covers about 2 miles of reef, where participants swim alongside sea life such as Angelfish, Parrotfish, Sergeant Major Fish, Hogfish, and Sea Turtles. The Seabob allows movement on the surface and underwater without requiring swimming skills, as riders wear a pilot belt attached to the device, which also floats like a life jacket. The tour is limited to small groups of up to six people and includes an instructor throughout. Photos and videos are allowed but not included; camera footage can be purchased on the day. Wetsuits are optional and available for rent. This activity is open to people aged 12 and older who weigh at least 75 pounds. Participants are advised to bring water, sun protection, and beach footwear. Showers are available on site but no changing rooms.
