This six-hour day tour begins at Rome's Termini Station where participants board the 9:49 am train to Frascati, a town approximately 20 kilometers from Rome. Upon arrival at Frascati station, a driver and guide meet the group and transfer them by car to a family-owned vineyard that has produced red and white wines for seven generations. At the vineyard, guests walk through the grounds and visit underground chambers that served as World War II refuges and now function as wine cellars. A guided tasting follows, featuring three wines: Frascati Superiore DOCG white, Vagnolo IGP red, and Frascati DOC white, accompanied by the family's extra virgin olive oils served with a selection of breads. After the tasting, the group travels by car back to Frascati’s historic center for a walking tour of local shops and botteghe. During this walk, visitors sample traditional local foods including roasted pork (porchetta), freshly baked biscotti from a wood-fired oven, focaccia, and jug wine from long-established shops and taverns. Following the walking tour, participants have lunch at a local restaurant in Frascati. The meal includes cured meats, Roman cheeses, pasta, oils, breads, and additional wine.
