Overview

This is a guided day tour lasting about five hours, departing from Sharm el-Sheikh with hotel pickup and drop-off included. The tour uses a vehicle to reach Ras Mohamed National Park, located roughly a 30-minute drive from the city. Upon arrival, the group stops at Allah Gate, the park's original entrance, for photos. The tour includes a snorkeling stop at Coral Gardens, where participants can swim and observe a variety of coral reefs and colorful fish. Snorkeling equipment is available if selected. After the swim, the tour continues with a photo stop at a mangrove forest that grows in the salty waters of the Red Sea. Next, the group visits Magic Lake for another swim amid views of sky, mountains, and desert. The route then passes by a large earthquake crack formed thousands of years ago. The tour concludes with a climb up a cliff to take panoramic photos of the park before returning to the hotel. The park itself is Egypt’s first national park, featuring diverse landscapes including mangroves, mountains, sand dunes, and coastal plains. The surrounding reefs host over 220 coral species and more than 1,000 fish species. Sea turtles such as the green turtle and hawksbill are often seen near the reefs.
