Overview

This full-day tour in Gran Canaria lasts between 7 and 10 hours and begins in the town of Firgas, known as the "City of Water." The Azuaje Ravine hike is an easy to moderate path through the laurel forest in Doramas Natural Reserve, with uneven terrain, gentle slopes, stream crossings, narrow parts, and rocky ground, so waterproof shoes are necessary as feet will probably get wet.
The route suits most people with basic fitness, covering about 3 km into the ravine and lasting roughly 2 hours, including stops to observe the scenery.
Restroom facilities are located in Firgas, at Ecofinca Ventana Verde, and at El Puertillo, where additional amenities and places to buy snacks and drinks are available; no restrooms exist along the trail itself.
All tours are led by certified guides who provide a safe and informative experience for participants.
Groups are limited to 20 people to maintain an interactive group atmosphere and allow participants to share the experience.
Participants should wear layered clothing since weather can change from sunny to cold, and the guide may alter the hike depending on weather, terrain, or group requirements.
The route includes winding roads that may cause motion sickness; those susceptible should bring appropriate medication.
