This full-day tour from Baku focuses on the historical and natural sites of the Gabala region. The day begins with a visit to Juma Mosque in the Shamakhi region. This mosque, built in the 8th century, is one of Azerbaijan’s oldest and largest religious buildings, dating back over 1,200 years. Next, the tour continues to Gabala, known as the Islamic tourism capital. Guests have time to eat lunch at a traditional restaurant near Lake Nohur. The lake sits 700 meters above sea level and is surrounded by forests and the Caucasus Mountains, including peaks named Yumru, Goydag, and Gulluburun. Visitors can enjoy boat rides and horse riding here, though lunch and activities are not included in the price. The tour then proceeds to the Tufandag Summer-Winter Touristic Complex, located about 4 kilometers from Gabala city. Tufandag features the world’s longest cable car ride, which has over 5 kilometers of rope lines and 4 stations. From the cable car, guests can view the entire panorama of Gabala. The complex offers skiing and ski training during winter and mountain walking in summer. The last stop is the Seven Beauties Waterfall near the village of Ruskan in the Vendam settlement of Gabala city. The waterfall flows from the highest Caucasus peaks and is located 6 km from Vendam village and 3 km from the main road near Puskan. The tour ends by returning to the starting point in Baku. This tour lasts about 12 to 13 hours and includes transportation, guide service, and hotel pickup and drop-off within Baku.
