From the outside, Gala Dali Castle is a striking 11th-century fortress—but step inside and you’ll enter a surreal world of art, love, and eccentricity. Gifted by Salvador Dalí to his muse and wife Gala, the castle was her private sanctuary in later life, designed entirely for her comfort—even in death. Explore its bizarre yet beautiful interior, where Dalí’s signature style is everywhere, from a glass coffee table framing a taxidermied horse to Gala’s crypt in the cellar.
