Overview

This full-day bus tour lasts about nine and a half hours and departs from Belfast. It covers several key Northern Ireland locations featured in the HBO series Game of Thrones. The guide provides commentary about filming sites and characters such as Daenerys Targaryen. Stops include Carrickfergus Castle for a photo break, Carnlough Harbour where Arya appeared injured, and Portaneevy View Point overlooking Carrick-a-Rede Ropebridge. In Ballintoy, there is time to have pub-style lunch at The Fullerton Arms and see one of the "Door of Thrones" sites. The tour includes around two hours of free time to explore the Giant’s Causeway rock formations. Additional short stops are made at Dunluce Castle ruins (photo stop) and The Dark Hedges, where guests walk along the tree-lined road featured in the series. The vehicle has air conditioning, and a driver-guide leads the group throughout the day. Food, drinks, gratuities, hotel pickup, and drop-off are not included. Visiting the Giant's Causeway Visitor Centre requires a separate entry fee, but the site itself is free.
