Overview

This half-day boat tour lasts about three and a half hours and is operated by a family-owned company with over 20 years of experience in the Cayman Islands. Guests arriving by cruise ship or staying at local resorts receive free pickup and drop-off. The tour starts with a 40-minute visit to Stingray City, where wild Southern Atlantic stingrays swim freely and interact with visitors. Participants can hold, feed, and take photos with the stingrays. Next, the boat crosses the North Sound to Starfish Point for a 20-minute stop. Depending on wind conditions, guests step onto a beach or sandbar to see wild starfish and learn facts about them. Snorkeling is included during the trip and is suitable for beginners and those wanting to snorkel away from shore. The operator provides snorkeling gear, life vests, bottled water, soda, and squid for feeding the stingrays. Transit times include about 15 minutes by bus from cruise port or hotels to the marina, 30 minutes by boat to the first stop, and 45 minutes by boat returning to the marina, followed by 15 minutes by bus back to the port or hotels. Souvenir photos are available for purchase but not included. Guests should bring their own towels, sunscreen, and snacks. Motion sickness medication is recommended for those not used to open water.
