Overview

This full-day tour begins in Belfast, where participants board an air-conditioned luxury coach with a professional guide providing live commentary throughout the approximately eight-hour trip. The first stop is a 20-minute photo opportunity at Carrickfergus Castle, a Norman castle located on the northern shore of Belfast Lough. The coach then travels along the Antrim Coastal Road, with views of the Irish Sea on one side and the Glens of Antrim on the other. The route includes passing through the Glens of Antrim, climbing Glencorp, crossing Glen Dun Bridge, and descending into Ballycastle. A 20-minute stop is made at the Portaneevy Viewing Point to see the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge from a distance, as group access to the bridge is currently restricted. The tour continues with a 30-minute visit to Old Bushmills Whiskey Distillery, where visitors can take photographs and purchase whiskey if they choose. The highlight of the day is a 90-minute stop at the Giant's Causeway, allowing time to walk on the basalt columns; admission to the visitor center is not included. Before returning to Belfast, the tour stops for five minutes at Dunluce Castle, a cliff-top castle known as a Game of Thrones filming location and former home of the MacDonnell Clan. The final stop is a 20-minute visit to the Dark Hedges, another Game of Thrones site. Food, drinks, gratuities, and hotel transfers are not included. The tour operates in all weather conditions, and children must be accompanied by an adult.
