Overview

This full-day bus tour begins with a departure from Glasgow toward Loch Lomond. The first stop is at Balloch, located at the southern end of Loch Lomond, where there is a choice to take a one-hour cruise on the loch or visit Loch Lomond Shores for coffee and views across the water. After this, the tour continues through the Trossachs National Park, often called 'the Highlands in Miniature' due to its mix of lochs, hills, and forests. The park is also known as the home of the historic figure Rob Roy MacGregor. The journey concludes with a visit to Stirling Castle, where the guide shares stories about William Wallace and Robert the Bruce. The tour lasts about eight and a half hours and includes a knowledgeable driver-guide with live commentary and air-conditioned transport. Admission fees for the cruise and Stirling Castle are not included, and food and drinks are not provided.
