Ggantija Archaeological Park
The tour begins with a 45-minute visit to the Ġgantija Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1980. These megalithic temples date from approximately 3600 to 2500 BC and are among the oldest free-standing stone monuments in the world, older than Stonehenge and the Egyptian pyramids by about 1000 years.
