This guided bus tour covers Los Angeles' major cultural and entertainment areas over about five hours. It begins in Downtown Los Angeles, where visitors see the mix of skyscrapers, historic sites, art galleries, and restaurants in the city's cultural center. Next, the tour passes by Los Angeles City Hall, a frequently filmed location featured in many movies and TV shows. The route continues with a photo stop at the Walt Disney Concert Hall, known for its distinctive architecture and as the home of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra. The tour also passes by the modern Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, the mother church of the largest Roman Catholic archdiocese in the U.S., and the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, part of The Music Center which hosted the Academy Awards for three decades. The tour includes a close look at the Hollywood Sign itself, a symbol of the movie industry. The bus then drives past the Greek Theatre, an outdoor venue dating from 1928. Participants get thirty minutes to walk the Hollywood Walk of Fame, including the TCL Chinese Theatre with its celebrity handprints and the Dolby Theatre, home of the Oscars since 2001. The tour continues along the Sunset Strip, passing famous music clubs like the Rainbow Bar and Grill and Whisky-a-Go-Go. In Beverly Hills, there is a stop for photos at the Beverly Hills sign and a drive down Rodeo Drive to see luxury boutiques and the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, known from the film "Pretty Woman." The tour ends with an hour at the Original Farmers Market and the Grove Shopping Mall, where visitors can eat and shop.
