Overview

The highlight of this full-day tour is spending up to four hours at Hardy Reef on the Great Barrier Reef, where visitors can snorkel, swim, or dive in a protected marine environment. The reef pontoon, Reefworld, is a multi-level facility moored 39 nautical miles from shore, equipped with an underwater observatory and a semi-submarine for viewing coral and marine life without getting wet. The day begins with a scenic return cruise through the Whitsundays aboard a high-speed catamaran, traveling to this outer reef location. Morning tea is served during the journey. Upon arrival, guests can use all snorkeling gear provided, including wetsuits and stinger suits, or choose to explore the reef from inside the underwater observatory or on the semi-submarine tour. Lunch is included, followed by afternoon tea before the return trip. Optional activities available for an additional cost include guided snorkeling safaris and scuba diving led by certified instructors. These extras allow participants to experience the reef in more detail but are not included in the base price.

Cruise Whitsundays

Travel by high-speed catamaran through the Whitsundays to reach the outer Great Barrier Reef. The journey includes morning tea and passes over waters home to hundreds of fish species and diverse corals. The vessel docks at a multi-level reef pontoon with an underwater viewing chamber, semi-submersible, and sun deck. This location offers sheltered snorkeling and diving opportunities year-round, supported by certified instructors.

Whitsunday Islands

The Great Barrier Reef lies just off the coast of the Whitsundays, a region with a sheltered lagoon where numerous fish and coral species thrive. Visitors can relax on the pontoon's sun deck or explore the marine environment through snorkeling or diving. Meals during the day are provided by restaurants from Airlie Beach that focus on seasonal and fresh ingredients.

3

Heart Reef

Heart Reef is part of the Great Barrier Reef complex near the Whitsundays. From the pontoon, guests can view the reef's colorful coral and marine life through the underwater observatory or semi-submarine.
