This full-day sailing trip from Cairns lasts about nine hours and visits Upolu Reef, located on the edge of the Outer Great Barrier Reef. The trip includes sailing by boat to this reef, where guests can snorkel or dive in the sheltered lagoon. The lagoon has warm, clear, protected waters with a variety of marine life such as giant clams, sea turtles, sea stars, and reef fish, along with diverse corals. The tour provides lunch, snacks, tea, and coffee. Snorkeling equipment and exposure suits are included for all guests, including children up to 14 years old. A guided snorkeling tour is offered to provide information and assistance while exploring the marine environment. The crew leads the trip, offering a relaxed and personalized experience away from larger crowds. Swimming ability is required. Guests aged 65 and over must wear a snorkel vest during in-water activities. Cruise ship passengers cannot be accommodated due to scheduling and logistics.
