Ground Zero Museum Workshop

Located in the Meatpacking District on West 14th Street, the Ground Zero Museum Workshop exhibits 100 photographs by Gary Marlon Suson, including the charred Genesis 11: Tower of Babylon Bible Page and the Frozen Clock stopped at 10:02 a.m., marking the South Tower collapse. The actual clock and FDNY Honor Guard images are also on display. As the only all-access photographer at Ground Zero, Suson's 3-D photo installations immerse visitors into the "hole" at Ground Zero. Visitors may hold World Trade Center steel and window glass. Tours are limited to 25 people, include a 15-minute video, last about 90 minutes, and are about 5 minutes from Ground Zero via the "E" train. The museum shows no graphic images and is suitable for children.
