Overview

This guided tour in Itajai covers the production of crystal from raw materials to finished products. Participants see the entire manufacturing process, including mixing raw materials, blowing crystal, lapidation, polishing, quality control, and packaging. The tour lasts about one hour and includes a visit to the Crystal Museum and access to the factory store. On weekdays, visitors can attend the full process from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. From 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM, the tour excludes the casting (blowing) process due to its morning schedule. On weekends and holidays, the casting process is not available, so the visit focuses on the factory and museum only. The factory technician, Frederico Strauss, with a family history of 70 years in crystal making, leads the tour and explains each production stage.
