Overview

Departing from Nagoya, take you to visit Gujo Hachiman, Hida Takayama, and Shirakawa-go Gassho Village, and encounter ancient streets, snowy countries, and delicacies The first stop is Gujo Hachiman, an ancient city known as the "Town of Water", famous for its crystal clear rivers and crisscrossing canals. The town is built on a mountain, and the wooden townhouses, stone-paved streets, and living water coexist, preserving the living style of the Edo period. Walking along the street, you can feel the slow and pure local rhythm. Climb to Gujo Hachiman Castle on the top of the mountain, the view is suddenly clear, the castle town and the mountains are unobstructed, and it is even more quiet when covered with white snow in winter, and it is called a famous city in the snow. Then go to Hida Takayama and walk into the historical district known as "Hida Little Kyoto". The Sanmachi Old Street is lined with merchant town buildings from the Edo to Meiji periods, with sake breweries, handicraft shops and traditional pastry shops opening one after another. Here you can not only taste local delicacies such as Hida beef cuisine and Takayama ramen, but also appreciate the delicate and exquisite craftsmanship of Hida craftsmen at close range.
