Embark on a day trip from Tokyo to experience the nature and cuisine of Gunma! The itinerary features three highlights: year-round natural wonders and fruit picking, combined with seasonal limited-time experiences, ensuring that both families with children and young travelers can have a great time. Stop 1 | Fukiware Falls (Kawagoe Ichiban-gai during the waterfall closure) Known as the "Niagara of the Orient," the autumn foliage complements the picturesque waterfalls. In winter, you can witness the unique scenery of ice and snow waterfalls, while summer is a popular summer retreat. Due to the winter closure of Fukiware Falls on December 4th, you can only see the hexagonal hall from a distance, and the stairs are slippery and risky. From December 7th to April 1st, 2026, you will instead visit: Kawagoe Ichiban-gai. Stop 2 | Harada Farm Fruit Picking Pick seasonal fruits with your own hands, including cherries in summer, apples in autumn, and strawberries in winter. It's a favorite for children, and adults can also enjoy the freshest, sweetest flavors. Stop 3 | Seasonal Limited-Time Experience April 6th - June 30th, September 1st - December 19th | Ikaho Onsen Stone Step Street: A stone step town surrounded by autumn leaves, where you can taste local delicacies while strolling, and finally warm up in a hot spring. July 1st - August 31st | Tambara Lavender Park: Over 50,000 lavender plants cover the hillside, creating a purple flower sea reminiscent of Furano. Stroll through it to feel the summer floral fragrance and take the flower field cable car at your own expense to overlook the magnificent scenery. December 20th – April 05th | Tambara Snow Park: Have fun playing in the snow, having snowball fights, building snowmen, or experiencing the fun of beginner skiing. Winter is full of joy.
