by Hmong Sister House and Trekking
The tour begins with a pickup from any convenient location in Sapa town. The guide arranges for a driver to transport luggage ahead to Zizi Homestay, allowing participants to hike without carrying heavy bags. After a short stop in Sapa, the group starts a hometrek following the traditional route once used by Hmong villagers traveling to the Sapa market. The first walking section leads to Y Linh Ho and takes about one hour. Next, the trek continues for approximately one and a half hours through rice paddies and local communities, arriving at Lao Chai village. The guide provides information about the villages, valleys, and mountains along the way. The group then walks for about one hour to Ta Van village, where a Hmong guide shares stories about the village's history and culture. The final part of the trek lasts around 30 minutes, ending at Hau Thao village, home to Zizi’s family and the Hmong Sister House. Visitors can explore the village and, if they wish, join a family dinner prepared by Zizi Homestay. During the meal, the English-speaking Hmong guide explains the history of the trail, daily life in the village, and Hmong traditions. Bottled water and lunch are included. The entire tour lasts about four and a half hours, with departure times available from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
