This walking food tour in Hanoi lasts about three hours and focuses on the city's traditional street cuisine and historic sites. It begins at the Old City Gate, known as O Quan Chuong, which is the last remaining gate from ancient Hanoi. The gate features Nguyen dynasty watch-tower architecture and commemorates soldiers who fought against the French. The tour continues through the Old Quarter, where participants visit six to eight street food vendors. These stops include small local restaurants both indoors and outdoors, offering a variety of traditional Hanoian dishes. The tour also includes a serving of Hanoi Egg Coffee, a local specialty. The final stop is Hang Bac Street, one of the 36 streets in the Old Quarter, each historically linked to a specific trade. Hang Bac is known for silver products and coin-making.
