Overview

Snorkel with the famous Manta Rays, guided by Big Islands most experienced captains and tour guides. Departing from Honokohau Harbor a 15-20 minute boat ride gets you to either Garden Eel Cove (northern manta site "Manta Heaven") or further south to Keauhou "Manta Village". Wetsuit and snorkel gear provided. Enter the water and relax. Guests hold onto our light board while floating flat on the surface of the water. A pool noodle is provided for extra floatation and to help keep your feet at the surface. Hish powered lights on the floating light board attract plankton acting like a "Manta Ray Buffet". Our in-water guide gets everyone in the best possible viewing position to give guests a safe, up close and personal encounter.

Coming from Hwy 19, turn west (toward the ocean) on Kealakehe Pkwy by the "Honokohau Marina and Small Boat Harbor" sign 2. Take the first right turn to enter the north side of the harbor. Follow this road around the bend for about a quarter mile. You will pass Gentry's gas station on your left. 3. Follow the road all the way around and park near the brown, pitched roof, public restroom building. 4. The Check-In Attendant will meet you by the Snorkel Big Island truck (White Ram 1500).
