by On Yer Bike Winery Tours
This self-guided bike tour in Hastings takes place in the Hawkes Bay wine regions of Bridge Pa Triangle and Gimblett Gravels, known for having the highest number of cellar doors in the area. The tour begins at a shop located within a vineyard, just 200 meters from the first winery on the route. Participants use bicycles and helmets provided, following purpose-built cycle trails through flat terrain, which makes the ride easy and comfortable. The route allows visiting several wineries, many of which offer cheese platters for lunch, while some have more extensive menus available. The tour lasts about six hours and includes a map of the winery route and the collection of purchases from wineries during summer. Wine-tasting fees and hotel transfers are not included. A child trailer is available on request if advised at booking, and the minimum drinking age is 18 years.
