Overview

This helicopter tour offers about a 25- to 30-minute flight over the Grand Canyon's South Rim and North Rim, departing from the Grand Canyon South Rim Heliport. Passengers will see the striped canyon walls, the Colorado River, and the Kaibab National Forest from above as the helicopter passes through the Dragon Corridor, the deepest and widest section of the canyon. The flight includes aerial views not accessible from the ground. Guests who upgrade to the Hummer excursion will continue after the flight with a roughly two-hour open-air vehicle tour along the canyon rim. This ground tour includes stops at Grandview Point and may include Moran Point and other notable lookout points. A professional driver-guide will provide commentary during the Hummer tour. Total time for the combined helicopter and Hummer tour can be up to 4.5 hours. The helicopter flight is the core activity, with the Hummer tour optional. Entrance fees to Grand Canyon National Park are not included and, starting January 1, 2026, non-U.S. residents on commercial ground tours must pay a separate entrance fee. Hotel pickup and gratuities are also not included.
