Overview

Gibraltar sits at the meeting point of Europe and Africa on the Mediterranean Sea. This full-day coach tour from Seville lasts about 10 hours and includes visits to the Rock of Gibraltar and St Michael's Cave. The Rock is known for its history dating back to 711 A.D. when Tarik Ibn Zeyad arrived, and the name Gibraltar originates from “Jebel Tarik,” meaning Tarik's Mountain. Visitors explore St Michael's Cave, a limestone cave system located over 300 meters above sea level within the Upper Rock Nature Reserve. The tour includes a stop at Europa Point, known as the cradle of the Pillars of Hercules, and a visit to the Ape’s Den, home to the wild Barbary macaques. The coach is air-conditioned and includes pickup and drop-off from three meeting points in Seville city centre. After the guided visits, there is about an hour of free time in Gibraltar to walk around the historic city centre, shop, or have lunch at own expense. Food and drinks are not included in the tour price.
