Overview

This four-hour morning tour in Ho Chi Minh City begins with a hotel pickup at 8:00 AM. The first stop is a local coffee shop for a short coffee break. Next, the tour visits a secret weapons bunker located beneath a house at 287/70 Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street in District 3. This bunker once stored over two tons of weapons used by the Saigon Rangers during the 1968 General Offensive and Uprising. After the bunker visit, the group travels to Nguyen Thien Thuat Street, one of the city's oldest apartment areas, where narrow alleys and local daily life are observed. The tour then continues to Ho Thi Ky Flower Market, Saigon's largest wholesale flower market, where many types of flowers from across Vietnam and abroad are sold. The stop here lasts about 15 minutes. Following the market, the tour visits Ba Thien Hau Temple in District 5 for 20 minutes. This Chinese temple, built around 1760 by the Tue Thanh Chinese community, has been recognized as a National Art and Architecture Monument since 1993. Afterwards, the group stops at a floating market to drink fresh coconut juice. The final stop is District 4, known as Saigon's smallest district and historically a mafia area, where participants enjoy spring roll vermicelli. A meal featuring Vietnamese pancake with wild vegetables is included at a local restaurant during the tour. Transportation is by motorbike, including fuel, and all mentioned food and drinks are provided. Accident insurance, a rain poncho if needed, and a high-quality open-faced helmet are included. There is an option to ride with a female Ao Dai motorbike rider if requested with six hours' advance notice; otherwise, rider gender is assigned randomly on busy days. Vegetarian options and private tours can be arranged. The tour focuses on unseen parts of Saigon combined with street food experiences and includes the option to ride with Ao Dai riders.
