The tour begins with hotel pickup by a private driver who will bring travelers to Hoi An Ancient Town. Visitors spend about two hours exploring the old town, including landmarks such as the Japanese Bridge, Chinese Assembly Hall, and historic houses. After the city visit, the group travels approximately 5 kilometers southeast to Cam Thanh Coconut Village, a former fishing village known for its water coconut forest and traditional crafts. At Cam Thanh, local guides assist guests in boarding a basket boat, a round bamboo boat used for transportation in the area. Participants spend about one hour paddling through the waterways lined with coconut palms. During the ride, they can try catching crabs with local fishermen and learn how to steer the boat themselves. The basket boat ride highlights the peaceful environment and the village’s history as a wartime shelter. The tour includes a meal of local foods, offered either for lunch or dinner depending on the schedule. After the boat ride and meal, guests are transferred back to their hotel. The total duration of the private tour is about three to four hours, with a minimum booking of two people. Included in the price are hotel pickup and drop-off, bottled water, entrance tickets, the basket boat ride, and local food. Alcoholic drinks and gratuities are not included.
