Participants receive detailed instructions on how to use the Phin and learn the master’s secret recipe for making authentic Vietnamese coffee at home. The class covers the entire coffee process from crop to cup, including how to roast dark beans and combine them with sweetened condensed milk, a practice that originated during the French colonial period when fresh milk was scarce. Attendees prepare five different types of coffee: traditional black coffee, Vietnamese happy white coffee, Hue Imperial salt coffee, Hanoi capital egg coffee, and fresh coconut coffee. Each coffee is served with a cookie and Vietnamese tea. The class includes coffee making tools, snacks, tea, coffee, an instructor, and an English-speaking guide. Hotel pick-up and drop-off are not included.
