The first stop is Hai Van Pass, located 500 meters above sea level, where visitors spend about one hour enjoying panoramic views of Da Nang City, Tien Sa Port, and Son Tra Peninsula. The guide shares historical information about the pass, including its role during the Vietnam War. Next, the tour continues to Lang Co Beach and Lap An Lagoon for approximately thirty minutes. After this, the group heads to Hue Imperial City, also known as The Citadel, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and former administrative center of the Nguyen Dynasty. Visitors spend about two hours exploring the Forbidden Purple City, Royal Palace, and temples along the Perfume River. A local lunch with Vietnamese cuisine, including vegetarian options, is served at a nearby restaurant around noon. Following lunch, the tour visits key sites within the citadel. The first is the Noon Gate, the main entrance used for royal ceremonies, where visitors spend twenty minutes examining its traditional architecture. Then, the Mieu Temple is visited for twenty minutes; it is dedicated to the worship of past Nguyen emperors and features intricate carvings and decorations. The group then proceeds to Thai Hoa Palace for twenty minutes, the official reception hall for the Nguyen emperors, known for its wood carvings and colorful details. The afternoon continues with a forty-minute visit to Thien Mu Pagoda, one of Vietnam's oldest pagodas. Visitors see the seven-story Phuoc Duyen Tower and explore the pagoda complex, including shrines and gardens overlooking the Perfume River. The final stop is the Tomb of Khai Dinh, where visitors spend about one hour viewing the mausoleum's blend of Vietnamese and European architectural styles, mosaics, and carvings set among hills. The tour returns to Da Nang city center between 5:30 and 6:00 p.m. Included in the tour are bottled water, lunch, an English-speaking guide, entry tickets if selected, two-way hotel transfers within Da Nang city center, travel insurance, and transportation on an air-conditioned bus.
