This 4-hour scuba diving baptism and snorkeling experience takes place in Ibiza, Spain, and is designed for beginners aged 10 and older, including swimmers without confidence. The program begins with a theoretical class where a professional instructor explains the basics of scuba diving. After the theory session, participants receive scuba equipment and are divided into small groups with a maximum of four divers per instructor. The guided baptism dive lasts about 35 minutes and reaches a maximum depth of 8 meters in a protected bay located 35 minutes by boat from San Antonio port. The dive follows a circular route starting in shallow waters, where participants can observe rockfish, starfish, octopus, anemones, spirographs, and Posidonia oceanica seaweed, a species protected by UNESCO. This dive site is secluded, accessible only by boat, and provides a safe environment suitable for beginners. After the scuba dive, participants can relax on the boat’s deck, swim, or snorkel using the included snorkeling equipment. Once all groups have completed their dives, the boat returns to port. The experience includes a professional guide, use of scuba and snorkeling gear, and bottled water. Food, drinks, lunch, and souvenir photos are not included. Participants should note that after diving, a 12-hour wait is required before flying. The tour may be conducted by a multi-lingual guide and is not recommended for people with certain medical conditions such as diabetes, epilepsy, asthma, high blood pressure, lung or heart diseases, blood disorders, or ear problems. Glasses cannot be worn during the dive, so contact lenses should be used if necessary.
