Overview

The tour begins with pickup at the hotel and transport by air-conditioned minivan to Iguassu Falls on the Argentinean side. A local, professional guide accompanies the group throughout the full day, leading visitors along all available trails in the park. The walk starts on the Lower Circuit, where travelers see smaller waterfalls within the forest and views of the main Iguazu River channel that divides Brazil and Argentina. Next, the Upper Circuit offers jungle paths crossing channels above the falls, with multiple viewpoints for photographs. Finally, the tour reaches the Devil's Throat, the main waterfall that is 80 meters high. Guests board a train through the forest for 15 minutes before walking on a catwalk to reach this viewpoint, where they can observe the volume and force of the water. The total walking and touring time at Iguassu Falls is about seven hours. The entrance fee to Iguazu National Park is not included, nor are food, drinks, or gratuities.
