This full-day wildlife tour lasts about eight hours and begins with a 45-minute stop in downtown Isla Mujeres, where you can walk along the malecon or shop for souvenirs. Next, the tour continues to Isla Contoy, a protected national park and ecological reserve known for its untouched environment. Here, a certified bilingual guide leads a two-and-a-half-hour walk to observe the island's unique plants and animals. After the nature tour, the group snorkels for 30 minutes at Ixlache Reef, part of the second largest barrier reef in the world, weather permitting for adults.
