Overview

The highlight of this full-day catamaran trip is the chance to snorkel around El Meco reef, swimming with fish, mollusks, crustaceans, and corals in the calm Caribbean Sea. Guests receive snorkeling equipment, follow a guide to the best spots, and enjoy a snack after the activity. The tour departs from Playa Tortugas at the Marina Adventure Bay pier in Cancun, with optional hotel pickup arranged after purchase. After arriving and checking in at the marina, guests board the boat where hosts provide unlimited alcoholic beverages and other drinks from the open bar throughout the day. The catamaran sails to Isla Mujeres, stopping first at Playa Norte, a large natural pool with clear waters, where guests can relax and swim. The tour includes a two-hour stop at a Beach Club on Isla Mujeres, where an international buffet and open bar are served. Guests can join a guided island tour, visit the Mayan ruins of the Goddess Ixchel for an extra charge, or spend time at the pool and beach. Later, there is free time in Playa Centro to explore the town’s streets, shops, and enjoy a tequila tasting before boarding for the return trip. On the way back to Cancun, which takes about 90 minutes, guests can unwind while watching the Caribbean sunset and drinking a piña colada. The catamaran has onboard restrooms, and the tour lasts about eight hours in total. The open bar is for adults over 18. Snorkeling is recommended only for guests aged 10 to 60 without respiratory or mobility issues. Children under 10 and adults over 60 cannot take part in snorkeling.
