Next, the group spends time in Sultanahmet Square, the historic center of Istanbul, which was once the Hippodrome of Constantinople and is now surrounded by landmarks like the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and the German Fountain. The guide then leads visitors to the Blue Mosque, a 17th-century mosque known for its six minarets, large dome, and blue İznik tiles. Afterward, the tour continues to Hagia Sophia, originally a Byzantine cathedral completed in 537, later converted to an Ottoman mosque, then a museum, and currently an active mosque.
