Overview

The tour begins early with a driver picking you up at your hotel or airport in Delhi between 5 and 5:30 AM. You travel by private air-conditioned car for about 4 to 5 hours to Jaipur. Upon arrival around 9 to 10 AM, you meet your guide who will accompany you throughout the day. Your first stop is Amber Fort, where you spend about two hours exploring the large fort complex featuring courtyards, palaces, and temples that display Rajput architectural style. After Amber Fort, you visit Jal Mahal, the palace located in the middle of Man Sagar Lake, which you can view and photograph from outside since entry is not permitted. Next, you travel to City Palace and spend around two hours discovering the complex with its mix of Rajput, Mughal, and European architecture, including museums and notable gates like the Peacock Gate. Then you visit Hawa Mahal, also called the Palace of Breeze, for half an hour to see its pink sandstone facade with distinctive windows designed to allow airflow and views of the city. The final sightseeing stop is the Monkey Temple (Galta Ji Temple), where you spend about one hour visiting the temple complex with its sacred water tanks and Hanuman Temple. The area is known for its large monkey population and the temple's location among the Aravalli hills. After the temple visit, you drive back to Delhi in the same private vehicle, a journey of about 4 to 5 hours, arriving late afternoon or early evening. Hotel or airport drop-off in Delhi is included. The tour lasts approximately 12 to 13 hours. The package includes a live guide at all sites, private car with driver, tolls, taxes, parking fees, mineral water, and hotel or airport pickup and drop-off.
