Overview

This 90-minute boat tour takes you through the bayous of Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve near New Orleans. After receiving your ticket online, bring your e-voucher to the gift shop to redeem it with the reservation team. Once confirmed, you will be directed to your pontoon boat where the captain will greet you. Cameras are recommended to capture views of the Louisiana swampland.

For about 90 minutes, a native guide will pilot the pontoon boat through the bayou’s winding waterways under shaded trees and a cooling breeze. The guide will explain the swamp’s ecosystem and local folklore while pointing out wildlife such as alligators, egrets, raccoons, nutria, and snakes.
