Here, guests see historic monuments and the traditional fishing boats known as "Xavelhas." From there, the tour goes up to Cabo Girão, a 580-meter-high cliff with a glass platform overlooking the sea. The journey continues through mountain paths and forested valleys, passing places like Lombo do Mouro, Paul da Serra plateau, and the Fanal laurel forest. Along the way, the guide points out terraces where locals grow banana trees and shares views of Madeira’s distinctive landscape. The tour passes through Ribeira da Janela, where a river flows into the ocean near notable rock formations including a natural rock window. The tour stops in Porto Moniz Village, known for its volcanic natural swimming pools, where there is time for swimming and lunch. After that, the group visits Seixal Village’s black sand beach and natural pools, including a waterfall.
