Overview

This half-day walking tour in Jerusalem lasts about seven hours and covers key religious and historical sites in the Old City and its surroundings. It begins with a 30-minute stop at Mount Scopus to view the Old City from above. Then the tour continues to the Garden of Gethsemane and the Kidron Valley, where you can see important outdoor landmarks. You will also see the Dome of the Rock before entering the Old City for a three-hour walking tour. The route includes visits to the Jewish Quarter, where you spend 30 minutes walking, and the Western Wall, where you have 20 minutes to visit the site. There are also views of the Temple Mount. The tour proceeds through the Christian Quarter for 30 minutes, then follows parts of the Via Dolorosa, the Way of the Cross, for another 30 minutes. You will spend 30 minutes inside the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Finally, the tour ends with a 30-minute walk through the Muslim Quarter. A professional guide leads the entire tour, and entrance fees are included. The vehicle used for transfers has air conditioning, and hotel pickup is provided at the start. Food, drinks, gratuities, and hotel drop-off are not included.
