Dress in warm layers and bring closed-toe shoes, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen — UV exposure is intense at 3,454m, even on cloudy days. Boarding at Eiger Glacier (Eigergletscher): Transfer from the Eiger Express to the Jungfrau Railway at Eiger Glacier station (Eigergletscher). Follow the color-coded markings and pass through the turnstiles at least 10 minutes before your departure time. Planning your return: Keep an eye on the time, especially if you hike toward Mönchsjochhütte — the return to Jungfraujoch takes longer than expected. Returning via Eiger Express: If heading back to Grindelwald, change trains at Eiger Glacier station (Eigergletscher). Wheelchair accessibility: Please contact the platform support team in advance of your visit to arrange the necessary accommodations.
