This 2-hour snorkeling and swimming tour departs from Christmas Cove Marina in Penneshaw on Kangaroo Island. Arrive 30 minutes early to get fitted with a wetsuit, mask, snorkel, fins, and life jacket, followed by a safety briefing. Then board a 28-seat vessel that travels along the coastline looking for wild dolphins and Long-Nosed Seals. During the tour, you can swim near dolphins or seals in the wild and snorkel along the coastal waters. The guide provides commentary about the marine life and environment as you explore. Wetsuits and snorkeling gear are included, and sunscreen and jackets are provided for comfort. Seal activity changes with the seasons, peaking in winter and dropping from November to January. The water temperature ranges from 14 to 15 degrees Celsius, so wetsuits are mandatory and children under 14 wear double wetsuits.
