Next, the group paddles to Gerakas Beach, a unique beach accessible only by sea, known for sand-falls and white volcanic rocks. There, participants snorkel around the bay’s hot springs. After the water activities, there is free time to relax in the sun and sample traditional snacks. The tour includes a return paddle to the starting point. Each kayak comes equipped with a lifejacket, an action camera, a waterproof phone case, bottled water, snacks, a waterproof bag, and snorkeling equipment. The kayak used is a double sit-in model with a rudder. Swimming skills are required for participation.
